Getting Started
Do I need any technical knowledge to set up Tula AI?+

No. Tula AI is built for practitioners, not developers. You set up your platform from a web dashboard – uploading your knowledge base, configuring your branding, and adding your domain. No code, no server management, no API keys (unless you use the WordPress plugin, which has its own simple setup).

How long does it take to get started?+

From signing up to having a working platform: typically one afternoon. Setting up the WordPress plugin takes about 10 minutes. Uploading your knowledge base takes as long as it takes to find the files.

What do I need before I sign up?+

Your reading focus area (Vedic, Western, or Human Design), your logo and brand colors if you want white-label from day one, and any PDF, DOCX, and TXT files you want the AI to learn from. None of these are required for the trial – you can start bare and add them as you go.

How does the trial work?+

Your first 30 days are free. You get 10 questions per day – they don’t accumulate, so unused daily questions don’t roll over to the next day. No credit card required. You can run a real reading for a real client during the trial. After 30 days, your account and charts are preserved for 6 months. Upgrade at any time and continue without interruption.

Can I try it before booking a demo?+

Yes. You can start a trial directly from the pricing page – no demo required. The demo is for practitioners who want a guided walkthrough before committing. It’s optional.

Plans & Pricing
How does AI credit billing work?+

Each plan includes a monthly AI credit budget – €15 for Practitioner and €45 for Professional. Credits are spent on every chat message, report generation, and AI operation. A short conversational reply costs a fraction of a credit; a full report section costs more. Your dashboard shows your current credit usage in real time.

Is billing monthly or annually?+

All plans are billed annually. This keeps the price lower and reflects the ongoing relationship we build with practitioners. Monthly billing is not currently available. Prices are shown as monthly equivalents. Payment is by invoice.

What is the Free Trial good for?+

The Free Trial is for practitioners who want to explore the platform before committing – testing the AI chatbot with real birth data, seeing how chart calculations work, and getting a feel for response quality. You get 10 questions per day, one modality, and up to 5 charts. No credit card required. It lasts 30 days.

The trial does not include automated reports, white-label branding, or client accounts – it’s designed to let you experience the AI with your own chart data before deciding on a plan.

What’s the difference between Practitioner and Professional?+

Practitioner (€20/month, billed annually) is for solo practitioners using AI for their own readings and reports. It includes automated reports, mini and premium model access (admin only), and a €15/month AI credit budget. It does not include white-label branding, custom domain, client user accounts, a custom knowledge base, or the WordPress plugin.

Professional (€60/month, billed annually) adds all of that – unlimited client accounts, white-label branding, custom domain, admin panel, knowledge base (500MB), and WordPress plugin – plus priority support and a €45/month AI credit budget. Professional also starts with a separate 30-day full-feature trial that requires a discovery call to set up.

What is overspend?+

Overspend lets you go above your monthly credit allowance without being cut off. You activate it from your dashboard – it’s opt-in, never automatic. Practitioner can add up to €20/month in additional credits; Professional up to €60/month.

Overspend charges are invoiced separately at the end of each month. If an invoice goes unpaid, your credit limit is reduced the following month and fully restored once the invoice is settled.

What is the maximum overspend?+

Practitioner: up to €20/month in additional credits. Professional: up to €60/month. The Free Trial does not include overspend.

Can I upgrade mid-year?+

Yes. You pay the prorated difference for the remainder of your billing year. Downgrading is available at the end of your annual billing period.

Can I cancel?+

You can cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of your paid period. No refunds are provided for unused time, in line with our refund policy.

Do client user accounts count toward my credit allowance?+

No. You can invite unlimited client accounts on the Professional plan. Their questions draw from your monthly credit allowance, but the number of client accounts itself is not capped.

Reports & Questions
Can I see my AI credit usage?+

Yes. Your admin dashboard shows your current month’s usage in real time: credits used, credits remaining, and overspend status.

What report types are available?+

Birth chart (natal), annual forecast, compatibility, and career/purpose. Each is available in the relevant system(s): Vedic, Western, or Human Design depending on the report type.

Can I customise which report sections are generated?+

Yes. From your dashboard settings, you can enable or disable specific report sections. This lets you focus the reading on areas relevant to your practice – and manage credit usage efficiently.

How long does a report take to generate?+

Most reports generate in under 60 seconds. Longer reports (8+ sections) may take up to 2 minutes.

Can clients download their report as a PDF?+

Yes. Every report has a download button. The PDF carries your logo on every page and your practitioner bio on the final page.

Can clients share their report?+

Yes, if you enable shareable links in your dashboard settings. You can choose to make reports shareable by default, shareable on request, or not shareable.

Knowledge Base & AI Quality
What is the knowledge base?+

Your knowledge base is a collection of PDF, DOCX, and TXT files you upload to your Tula AI account. The AI uses them as private context when answering questions and generating reports. Your knowledge base is what makes the AI sound like you – rather than a generic platform.

What should I upload?+

Study notes, published guides, interpretation tables, session frameworks, house and sign interpretations, Nakshatra meanings, gate and channel descriptions (for HD), and any personal methodology documents. The more relevant material you upload, the more closely the AI reflects your interpretive approach.

Is my knowledge base shared with other practitioners?+

No. Your knowledge base is stored in a completely isolated private vector database. It is never accessed by or shared with any other practitioner on the platform.

What file formats are supported?+

PDF, DOCX, and text files. Other formats may be added in future updates.

How does the AI use my knowledge base?+

When a question is received, the AI performs a semantic search across your uploaded documents to find the most relevant sections. It then combines those sections with the client’s chart data and generates a response. You don’t need to structure your files in any particular way – semantic search finds relevance regardless of format.

Can the AI make mistakes?+

Yes. No AI system is infallible. The quality of responses can improve with a well-curated knowledge base, but you should review reports before sending to clients – particularly in the early stages of using the platform. We recommend configuring the AI’s response parameters conservatively to match your quality standards.

Does Tula AI use my knowledge base to train its models?+

No. Your uploaded documents are used solely as retrieval context for your own account. They are not used for any model training or shared with any third party.

White-Label & Branding
What does “white-label” mean in practice?+

It means your clients see only your brand – your domain, your logo, your colors, your bio – when they use the platform. There is no visible “Powered by Tula AI” unless you choose to show it.

Can I use my own domain?+

Yes, on Professional and Custom plans. You point your domain’s DNS to Tula AI’s servers, and the platform serves your branded interface from that domain. Standard domain configuration guidance is available in your dashboard.

What if I don’t have my own domain yet?+

On the Free Trial and Practitioner plan, your platform is hosted at {specialization}.tula-ai.org (e.g. vedic-astrology.tula-ai.org or human-design.tula-ai.org). On Professional or Custom, you can connect your own domain at any time.

Can I customise the email notifications clients receive?+

Yes. You can set the sender name for email notifications so they appear to come from your brand.

Can I add my own text to the reports?+

Yes. You can add a practitioner intro, a bio section, and a custom CTA at the end of every report.

Does every report have my logo?+

Yes, on Professional and Custom plans. Your logo appears in the platform interface and on all generated PDFs. On the Free Trial and Practitioner plan (no white-label), reports are displayed under the Tula AI brand.

WordPress Integration
Does Tula AI have a WordPress plugin?+

Yes, on Professional and Custom plans. The plugin lets you embed the chatbot ([tula_ai_chat]) and report form ([tula_ai_report]) directly into any page on your WordPress site using shortcodes or Gutenberg blocks.

How do I set up the plugin?+

Install the plugin, enter your Tula AI API key in the plugin settings, and add the shortcode or block to any page. Setup typically takes under 10 minutes.

Can I use my own domain for the WordPress-embedded version?+

Yes. When the plugin is embedded on your WordPress site, it runs on your domain. No separate subdomain is required.

Does the plugin work with my existing contact forms and booking systems?+

Yes. The plugin operates independently of other plugins and does not conflict with standard contact form, booking, or membership plugins.

Is the plugin responsive on mobile?+

Yes. The chatbot and report form are responsive by default and render correctly on all screen sizes.

Do I need the plugin, or can I use a separate subdomain?+

Both options are available. The plugin is ideal if you already have an established WordPress site and want to integrate Tula AI into it. A separate subdomain is better if you want the platform to have its own distinct URL.

Privacy & Data
Where is my data stored?+

All data is stored on EU-based infrastructure (Hetzner servers, primary). We do not use US-based cloud storage for client data.

Is my knowledge base private?+

Yes. Each practitioner’s knowledge base is stored in a completely isolated private vector collection. It cannot be accessed by or shared with any other practitioner.

What happens to my clients’ birth data?+

Client birth data is stored under your account only. It is never shared with other practitioners or used for any purpose outside of generating readings for your platform.

Is Tula AI GDPR compliant?+

Yes. The platform is built with GDPR compliance as a core design requirement. You can configure client data retention periods, and clients can request data deletion via your platform’s settings.

Do you sign a data processing agreement?+

Yes. By accepting the Terms of Service, practitioners automatically enter into a data processing agreement with Tula Branding Studio under Serbian law – no separate signature required. Custom plan clients have the option for a bespoke agreement.

Does Tula AI use client data for AI model training?+

No. Client data – including birth information, conversation history, and report content – is never used for model training or shared with third parties.

Vedic Astrology – System Questions
What Vedic calculation system does Tula AI use?+

Swiss Ephemeris with Lahiri ayanamsa. This is the most widely used ayanamsa in Jyotish practice and the standard used by major Vedic astrology software.

Which house system is used for Vedic charts?+

Equal houses (Rashi-based), which is the standard in Parashara Jyotish. Whole sign houses and Placidus can be configured for practitioners who prefer them.

Does Tula AI support Jaimini astrology?+

Basic Jaimini indicators (Atmakaraka, Amatyakaraka, other Chara Karakas) are included. Full Jaimini Chara Dasha and Rashi aspects require a knowledge base upload with your Jaimini interpretation approach.

How many divisional charts are calculated?+

The most important of the 60 Varga charts (D1 through D60) are calculated. The D10 Dashamsha is featured prominently in career reports. Other divisional charts can be included in custom report configurations.

Are Yogas calculated automatically?+

Yes. Major Yogas (Raja, Dhana, Viparita, Neecha Bhanga, Pancha Mahapurusha, and others) are identified automatically. The AI interprets them in the context of the rest of the chart.

Human Design – System Questions
How does Tula AI calculate the Human Design chart?+

From birth date, time, and location. Planetary positions for the Personality (birth moment) and Design (88° Sun prior to birth) are calculated using Swiss Ephemeris in tropical zodiac. Gates are derived from planetary longitudes mapped to the I Ching hexagrams.

Which gate wheel does Tula AI use?+

Gate 41 begins at 302° (2° Aquarius). Each gate spans 5.625°; each line spans 0.9375°. This is the standard Ra Uru Hu gate wheel used in Human Design.

Are all 5 Types supported?+

Yes – Generator, Manifesting Generator, Projector, Manifestor, and Reflector. Type determination follows the standard channel-based rules.

Are all 9 Authority types calculated?+

Yes – Sacral, Emotional/Solar Plexus, Splenic, Ego/Willpower, G Centre (Self), Environment (No Inner Authority), Lunar (Reflector), and Mental Projector.

Are Incarnation Crosses included in reports?+

Yes. The Incarnation Cross is identified and its theme is described in the natal chart report.

Does the report include the bodygraph as a visual?+

Yes. Every Human Design report includes a full SVG bodygraph showing defined and undefined centres, channels, and gate activations.
