Built for our process. Not as a generic idea.
Tula AI didn’t start as a product. It started as a tool we built for ourselves – because Vedic astrology was already part of how we worked with clients, and we needed a better way to do it.
Tula Branding Studio came first.
Ana founded Tula Branding Studio as a studio for wellness practitioners, coaches, therapists, educators, and creatives who needed a brand that matched the depth of their work. Over time the practice evolved well beyond visual identity. A brand is how someone shows up, communicates, and positions their work in the world. Vedic astrology became a core part of that process.
Each client’s birth chart informed concrete brand decisions: colors aligned with their career field, archetypes that match their natural energy, the communication tone and content formats most authentic to them, and the patterns in how others perceive them publicly – all derived from Jyotish. Not as a metaphor. As a working methodology, delivered as part of every full brand engagement.
When Nikola joined – bringing a background in software development and web technology – the studio evolved into Tula Branding Studio. Two perspectives: one rooted in design strategy and spiritual systems, one in technology and process. A shared interest in self-development, wellness, and what actually works in practice.
The astrology piece kept growing. It was also time-consuming to do well.
We built it for ourselves.
To do Jyotish-informed branding properly, you need to go deep into a chart. Not just pull keywords – but interpret planetary states, nakshatra placements, house lords, the story the 10th house tells about someone’s dharma and how they naturally show up in public. Every client required real interpretation, cross-referenced research, and careful synthesis. It takes time, and there is always more to learn.
We wanted a tool that could help us learn, generate draft reports faster, and answer in-context questions while we worked. There was nothing built for this specific use. So in mid-2024, we started building it ourselves.
The first version was a working tool for two people solving a real daily problem. That’s all it needed to be.
The first internal version came together in early 2025. We called it Jyotishbot.
We used it daily – on real client charts, as a working part of the branding process. It helped us learn faster and generate reports that would have taken hours to write by hand. The name came from the tool itself: we ran our own charts through it and looked at both our 10th house lords – the house of dharma, of work, of how we show up professionally. Both sat in Nakshatras activated by the sounds Tu and La. Tula. The same name as the studio. The Sanskrit word for balance – and the sign of the scales.
It wasn’t planned. It confirmed itself.
Then our clients started asking. A few Tula Branding Studio clients wanted just the report. Friends who follow astrology closely got access to test it – and they spent hours with it, exploring placements, asking follow-up questions, going deeper than we expected. That showed us there was something worth building further.
In Serbia and across the Balkans, Vedic astrology is known but Western astrology is the system most people grew up with. Human Design has grown significantly here too. We’d built for Jyotish first, but the interest was broader. So we expanded – Western astrology, Human Design – the same infrastructure extended to the systems people in our region actually use. Tula AI became the platform. We are still using it ourselves.
A chart is not a list of placements.
Isolated keywords – “Sun in Scorpio,” “Generator with Sacral Authority” – mean very little without context. The patterns between placements, the house lords, the timing layers: that’s where real insight lives. We know this because we use these systems to make decisions in our own work. Tula AI is built around synthesis, not keyword lookup – and the quality of that synthesis depends on the knowledge base you bring to it.
Interpretation belongs with practitioners.
We don’t sell directly to end users. A chart reading carries weight – it shapes how someone understands themselves and their path. That responsibility belongs with someone who has studied, who reads context, who can hold the full picture. Tula AI handles the groundwork and follow-up questions. The judgment behind a real reading remains human.
The region shapes the product.
We built for the Balkans first. That means Western astrology as the familiar default, Human Design as a growing practice, and Vedic as the system we understand most deeply ourselves. We didn’t expand to all three systems because of a market analysis. We did it because those are the systems our people actually use – and we are part of that community.
Tula AI is built and maintained under Tula Branding Studio – the same studio where Jyotish astrology is an active, working part of how we serve clients, not a marketing angle.
Ana’s branding process – Launch with Purpose – delivers a full Jyotish astrological report as part of every brand engagement: brand colors aligned with the career field, archetypes, communication style, and the patterns shaping how someone shows up publicly. Nikola builds the technology that makes that kind of depth repeatable and scalable. We’re both interested in spirituality, wellness, and self-development – that’s not incidental to the product. It’s the reason we understand the people we’re building for.
We are not a VC-backed startup trying to scale fast and exit. We are a small team that uses the platform ourselves, responds to clients directly, and builds features based on what actually comes up in practice. That’s not a positioning statement – it’s just how we work.
Build something that carries your name.
If what you’ve read here resonates – the approach, the values, the depth – book a demo. We’ll show you the platform running with your system, your charts, and your knowledge base.
